The full renovation of the Emirates Room, formerly Conference Room 17, of the Palace of Nations in Geneva was designed by architects Siavosh Adeli and Joakim de Rharn, based on the symbology of three essential elements in the daily lives of the Emirati people: the sky, the desert and their traditional white clothing.
Italian company CCM, specialised in interior furnishings for airports and large public spaces, was the main contractor which carried out the comprehensive renovation of the room.
CCM entrusted BGL with the supply, installation and integration of the audiovisual solution which allows the sky of the Emirates to be viewed on the ceiling of the room in up to six different periods of the day.
To do so, BGL used robust, latest generation audiovisual and control technology, ensuring the ongoing functionality of the system in a room where events of international importance are held.
